Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across a critical Technology Infrastructure portfolio.

This is a highly visible role providing commercial leadership across Infrastructure, Cloud, Connectivity, Data Centre and Network-related procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing activities across Technology Infrastructure and Cloud categories.
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned to business and technology objectives.
  • Act as a key commercial partner to the CTO and Technology Leadership Team.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from requirement definition through to supplier selection and contract award.
  • Manage complex RFP, RFQ and tender processes.
  • Negotiate and manage high-value technology contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Drive commercial value, cost optimisation and operational improvements across the technology spend portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic technology suppliers and reseller partners.
  • Support major technology transformation and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide commercial oversight of cloud services and infrastructure agreements.
  • Partner with Technology, Finance and Legal teams to support investment decisions, business cases and governance activity.
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify opportunities and innovation.
  • Ensure robust procurement governance and commercial risk management.
  • Maintain visibility of contract renewals, sourcing pipelines and future procurement requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • A confident and credible procurement professional capable of operating at executive level.
  • 5+ years' experience in IT Procurement, Technology Sourcing or IT Category Management.
  • Strong understanding of category knowledge across Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, Connectivity or Hosting environments.
  • Proven experience leading complex technology sourcing projects and commercial negotiations.
  • Expertise managing technology contracts, frameworks and service agreements.
  • Strong experience of RFPs, competitive tendering and supplier evaluation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
  • Experience engaging directly with CIOs, CTOs and Technology Leadership Teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation capability.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, migration or transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of procurement governance, risk management and category strategy
  • Ideally you would have managed a small team
  • Degree qualified and/or CIPS qualified preferred.
