We are recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Assistant to join a not-for-profit organisation on a remote working basis. This remote role involves supporting payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.

This not-for-profit organisation holds an excellent reputation and is highly regarded for its flexibility as an employer. The role will join a well-established Finance team. The role is for c. 22 hours a week and the client is open on when/how these hours are worked. Additionally, the role is fully remote working.

Description

  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data and payment details.
  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and related filings.
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support process improvements within the payroll system.

Profile

  • Experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
