Michael Page are recruiting for an Interim Development Accountant to join a commercial Not for Profit organisation in Manchester with hybrid working. The client is a well known and highly regarded organisation in Manchester. It is one of the largest within its sector and offers excellent opportunities. The role sits within its Finance team and offers hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial reports related to development projects.
- Prepare and coordinate month end reporting.
- Preparing cash flows.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the department.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Monitor project costs and ensure accurate allocation of funds.
- Support the preparation of audit documentation as required.
Profile / Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (Part Qualified or Qualified).
- Experience working within the housing sector (either private or public).
- Month end reporting and reconciliations experience.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
