Job Description

As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee information and providing high-quality administrative support across a wide range of HR activities.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HR system (Hi Bob), ensuring data integrity at all times.
  • Processing employee changes including starters, leavers, promotions, salary changes, contractual amendments and other lifecycle activity.
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding administration, ensuring all documentation and system updates are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinating recruitment administration, including arranging interviews, maintaining candidate records and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.
  • Completing right to work and visa checks, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with legislation.
  • Monitoring the HR inbox, responding to routine queries and ensuring requests are logged, actioned and followed up appropriately.
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to probation reviews, sickness absence, holidays and other employee lifecycle processes.
  • Supporting payroll administration, ensuring employee data and changes are checked thoroughly and submitted accurately and on time.
  • Producing HR reports and management information from the HRIS, ensuring data is accurate and presented clearly.
  • Carrying out regular checks on HR data and identifying discrepancies or missing information.
  • Supporting annual HR processes including engagement surveys, performance reviews, salary benchmarking and pay review activity.
  • Coordinating training sessions, employee events and internal People initiatives.
  • Preparing HR documentation, correspondence and reports with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

You will bring

  • Previous experience in HR Administration, People Administration or a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A methodical approach to work and a commitment to getting things right first time.
  • Experience working with HR systems or databases; Hi Bob experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong data entry and data management skills, with confidence identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence dealing with employees, managers and external contacts.
  • The ability to follow processes and procedures while also identifying opportunities to make them more efficient.
  • A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation.
  • Previous exposure to payroll, recruitment administration or employee lifecycle processes would be beneficial.
