Description
As a Finance Analyst, duties will include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain advanced financial models - including multi‑year planning, integrated statements and scenario analysis - to support strategic decision‑making.
- Analyse operational and project costs, turning complex information into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
- Support commercial opportunities by producing financial evaluations, pricing models and resource planning analysis.
- Produce clear, accessible reports and visual materials tailored for non‑finance audiences.
- Maintain and evolve financial data structures, ensuring accuracy, consistency and integration across various internal data sources.
- Develop dashboards and automated reporting tools that enhance visibility, improve performance tracking and strengthen business insight.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes, identifying key risks, trends and opportunities.
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- A qualification/experience in Finance - Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
