Job Description
As a Catastrophic Injury NQ/Associate/Senior Associate your duties will include:
- Manage catastrophic injury claims from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective case handling.
- Provide legal advice and support to clients in relation to complex injury cases.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and resolution.
- Negotiate settlements and liaise with opposing parties, insurers and other stakeholders.
- Attend court hearings and advocate on behalf of clients when required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Catastrophic Injury NQ/Associate/Senior Associate should have:
- A qualified solicitor status with a focus on catastrophic injury or personal injury cases.
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant legal practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads effectively and independently.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal work.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and case management.
