We're supporting a property business seeking an experienced Business Consultant to lead the selection and implementation of a new Property Management System. This is a hands-on contract, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, challenge existing processes and drive successful business change.
Our client is a growing residential property sector. As part of its continued growth, the business is investing in a new Property Management System to improve operational efficiency, enhance the customer experience and create a scalable platform for future acquisitions.
Reporting to the executive team, you'll bridge the gap between business strategy and technology delivery, ensuring the organisation selects and implements the right solution for its future needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the definition of business requirements for a new Property Management System.
- Translate business strategy into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Lead the vendor selection process, including requirements gathering, RFP evaluation and solution assessment.
- Work with operational teams to simplify processes and minimise unnecessary system customisation.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels, building alignment and reducing resistance to change.
- Partner with software vendors and implementation partners throughout delivery.
- Support business readiness, process adoption and successful transition to new ways of working.
- Provide programme planning, governance and delivery oversight where required.
We're looking for an experienced transformation professional who combines strong business analysis, change and delivery skills with a deep understanding of the property sector.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience delivering business transformation or major systems implementations within the property sector.
- Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems such as Reapit, MRI Software, Yardi or similar platforms.
- Experience defining business requirements, future state processes and operating models.
- The confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence business decisions.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading vendor selection and software procurement activities.
- Strong understanding of business change, user adoption and change management.
- Experience within Build to Rent, residential property, lettings or the wider real estate sector is essential.
- Previous experience within a Private Equity backed business would be advantageous.
