Description
- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a range of clients across different sectors
- Perform audit testing across financial statement areas and document audit evidence to a high standard
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP
- Support the team in identifying audit risks and recommending improvements
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service
- Coach and mentor junior team members
- Work collaboratively with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and timely completion of assignments
Profile
- A successful Audit Semi Senior should have:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA / ACCA
- Previous experience working in external audit within a UK accountancy firm
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on responsibility
