Overview
Join a well‑established, growth‑focused industrial and manufacturing SME as a Management Accountant. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis to support business operations and help shape the company’s financial direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including consolidations and commentary
- Track and report on key operational metrics such as tons processed, margin per deal, and asset performance
- Produce weekly and monthly financial updates, forecasts, and budgets
- Monitor and analyse costs and performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Track and review pricing models to support profitability
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to make data‑driven recommendations supporting growth and efficiency
- Provide insight and suggestions for cost‑saving and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Profile
- QBE, Part‑qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Management Accountant with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Confident working with large volumes of data and turning numbers into meaningful insights
- Strong Excel and systems experience with excellent attention to detail
- Commercially minded with the ability to challenge and influence
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable in a dynamic and evolving environment
