Job Description
The Management Accountant will;
- Plan and implement mid-month reviews of fixed cost accounting to ensure resource is optimised to deliver on monthly close timetable
- Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are completed on time and reconciling items investigated and resolved monthly
- Appropriate evidence maintained to support period end prepayments, accruals and controls
- Compliance with internal control requirements
- Responsible for the complete and accurate recording of the monthly operating expenses and payroll
- To ensure the associated balance sheet control accounts and analyses are correctly stated at month end
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Part-qualified qualification CIMA or similar
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
- Knowledge of financial forecasting and risk analysis
