Description
- Provide VAT advisory services to clients, offering tailored solutions to complex tax issues.
- Manage VAT compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Work closely with clients to identify VAT planning opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with VAT legislation and advise on relevant changes.
- Review and oversee VAT returns prepared by junior team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated tax solutions.
- Support clients during VAT inspections or audits.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Profile
A successful VAT Manager should have:
- Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and its application in the UK.
- Experience in managing VAT compliance and advisory projects.
