  • Review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to develop their technical and professional skills.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice on accounting and audit matters.
  • Identify and address potential risks or issues during engagements and propose practical solutions.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients and internal teams throughout the audit process.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to business development activities by identifying opportunities to expand client services.

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

  • A recognised qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in leading audit engagements within a mid‑tier accountancy firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving and delivering client‑focused solutions.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring team members to achieve their potential.
