Join a global payroll team supporting end-to-end payroll operations across the EMEA region. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional with multi-country payroll experience to partner with HR, employees and external providers.

Description

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of assigned payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, statutory deductions, benefits and other payroll-related payments.
  • Partner with HR and internal stakeholders to collect, review and validate payroll data prior to submission to external payroll providers.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of payroll operations and ensure payroll activities are completed in line with established procedures and controls.
  • Support the management of complex payroll activities, including international payroll considerations, cross-border transactions and employee mobility arrangements where applicable.
  • Assist the Payroll Lead in the delivery of payroll services across the EMEA region within an outsourced payroll environment.
  • Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries and escalations, providing a high level of service to employees, business stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and ensure appropriate controls are maintained over payments to payroll vendors, benefit providers and statutory authorities.
  • Support employee, stakeholder and supplier enquiries, ensuring issues are resolved accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain payroll process documentation, controls and procedures to support compliance, consistency and audit requirements.

Profile

  • Demonstrable experience managing end-to-end payroll across multiple European countries.
  • Experience working within outsourced payroll operating models and partnering with third-party payroll providers.
  • Familiarity with HR and payroll systems, including integrated payroll environments.
  • Understanding of employee benefits and other payroll-related compensation processes would be beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements and payroll controls within a regulated environment.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
  • Has the ability to commute to Maidenhead and is available immediately or on short notice.

Job Offer

  • Assignment running until June 2027
  • Total pay rate: c. £200 per day (inc. holiday pay)
  • 2x days per week at Maidenhead site
  • Free parking on site and commutable via public transport
  • Full time role - 37.5 hours per week
  • Adjustable start and finish times
  • Start date: ASAP
