As HR Manager, you will provide proactive, high-quality HR support to academies across the Trust, partnering closely with leaders on all people matters. You'll lead on employee relations, support organisational development, and help drive a positive, compliant and high-performing culture.

Location: Central Head Office (NG23 5JR) - minimum 1 day per week onsite (free parking available) with travel across academies and home working

Permanent Salary: £42,839 - £47,181

Hours: 37 hours per week

C.I.T comprises 19 academies across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, alongside its Teaching Centre - LEARN. The Trust is committed to delivering high-quality education and care, underpinned by strong values of inclusion, collaboration and aspiration, ensuring both pupils and staff are supported to achieve their full potential.

As an HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting schools across the Trust, providing high-quality, proactive HR advice and delivering people-focused solutions that drive positive outcomes for staff and students alike.

Description
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders across the Trust on all people matters
  • Lead and manage a wide range of employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with academies, acting as a key HR partner
  • Support recruitment, induction, probation and performance management processes
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and compliance with employment legislation
  • Conduct investigations, hearings and present cases where required
  • Lead on absence management and provide insightful reporting to support decision-making
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of HR strategy and initiatives
  • Support organisational development, training and continuous improvement across the Trust
Profile
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong generalist HR background with proven experience managing complex employee relations cases
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage a varied workload
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel between Trust sites
