Our client is in the Financial Sector and is looking to grow the business by hiring their first Test Manager. They have a Central London office and this role is twice a week on site.
You will be the first dedicated test resource on site. Currently testing is being done by developers and it is very inconsistent, so they are looking to hire a Test Manager to come on board and define a new strategy from scratch. This role will involve hands-on testing alongside strategy for this year, and you will be the sole Test Resource.
- Take a lead of the testing suite
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects effectively.
- Supervise the execution of test cases and monitor the testing process to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Analyse test results, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Oversee the integration of automated testing tools and processes.
Must haves:
- Experience in defining and implementing test strategies
- Set up a test function from scratch in the past
- Hands-on testing experience in current/last role
- Automation testing experience (Playwright, Selenium etc)
- Strong communication skills
