This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund finance professional to take ownership of a portfolio of private equity investment funds within a highly respected international investment business. Description
- Oversee the financial management, analysis and reporting of private equity investment funds.
- Lead quarterly valuation processes, including performance calculations and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Take ownership of investor reporting, board materials and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Act as a senior member of the finance team, mentoring junior colleagues and reviewing their work.
- Manage relationships with investment professionals, external administrators and service providers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Review financial statements, monitor cash flows and oversee debt and lender reporting processes.
- Drive process improvement, automation projects and data quality initiatives across finance operations.
- Support new fund launches, complex transactions and operational projects as experience develops.
Profile
- Degree or master's qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- Approximately 6+ years' experience within fund finance, asset management, public accounting, financial services or a related environment.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and investment performance metrics.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience using reporting and data analytics tools such as Power BI and Alteryx.
- Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members.
- Exposure to private equity funds would be highly advantageous.
- A proactive, technology-minded approach with an interest in automation and process enhancement.
