Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day transport operations, including scheduling, routing and resource allocation
- Managing a team of drivers, planners and operational staff, fostering a culture of safety and performance
- Ensuring full compliance with Oâlicence regulations and maintaining all transport documentation to the highest standard
- Overseeing fleet utilisation, maintenance schedules and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with senior leadership to implement operational projects and optimise service delivery
- Monitoring KPIs across safety, service and cost, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Being the point of escalation for operational issues and ensuring swift, effective resolution
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, partners and external regulatory bodies
Profile
- Strong experience managing transport operations, ideally within fuel, hazardous goods, industrial logistics or similar regulated environments
- Proven leadership capability, with a track record of building highâperforming operational teams
- Excellent knowledge of transport legislation, compliance and health & safety standards
- Strong operational planning, problemâsolving and communication skills
