Prudential Risk Manager
Maintain and enhance the prudential risk framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - own ICAAP and RRP.
Access constantly to C-Suite level, so excellent communications skills.
Monitor and assess the organisation's risk exposures, offering actionable insights for mitigation (e.g. some horizon scanning/basel 3.1).
Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports for senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with risk management policies (e.g. help with ILAAP - not essential to have owned before).
Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on the organisation.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and provide recommendations for necessary adjustments.
Support the development of risk training materials for internal teams.
Lead or contribute to risk-related projects and initiatives as required.
Profile
A successful Prudential Risk Manager should have:
Strong knowledge of prudential regulations and risk management practices in a Small to Mid sized Bank/Challenger/Disruptor OR may come from Big 4/Top 20 Practice with Prudential Assurance/Consulting for similar clients.
ICAAP knowledge front-to-back.
Proficiency in analysing financial data and conducting risk assessments (e.g. data mapping exercises).
Excellent communication skills for preparing reports and liaising with stakeholders (great comms given this role will have access constantly to C-Suite level).
A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. xgikmsk
