This role will lead the direct procurement strategy for the business, with responsibility for negotiations, tenders, and supporting new product launches.   • Develop and deliver procurement strategy, policies, and processes.
  • Lead and develop the procurement team.
  • Define and execute sourcing and category strategies, including tenders and supplier negotiations.
  • Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and margin improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally to influence decisions and improve performance through data, insights, and continuous improvement.

Profile

The successful candidate would have:

  • Strong experience within direct FMCG procurement, ideally ingredient or commodity categories.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver sourcing strategies, run tenders, and achieve cost savings.
