The Community Engagement Manager leads day‑to‑day community engagement, events and programmes, ensuring members receive a high‑quality, inclusive and supportive experience. Description:
- Lead the planning and delivery of a varied programme of in‑person and community events, ensuring high quality experiences from conception to post‑event follow‑up.
- Act as the primary point of contact for members and prospective members, handling enquiries related to membership, events and services with professionalism and empathy.
- Design and oversee a welcoming member onboarding journey, introducing new members to events, programmes and community life to support retention and engagement.
- Use membership data, CRM insights and feedback to shape event programming, improve attendance and inform future planning.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure events are well‑promoted, inclusive and aligned with member interests.
- Recruit, train and manage volunteers to support events and community activities, ensuring clear roles and a positive experience.
- Line‑manage and coordinate administrative support to ensure smooth event operations and consistent member service standards.
- Monitor engagement, attendance and retention, producing reports and recommendations to support membership growth and continuous improvement.
