Description
An Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor to:
- The first initial 12 months will focus on inclusive recruitment to attract and retain a diverse talent pool.
- Have a strong focus on outreach to build relationships and partnerships with organisations to increase diverse talent.
- Develop a strong EVP and employer branding to increase market reputation and promote being an employer of choice.
- Embed inclusive recruitment and wider employment practices.
- Be the subject matter expert on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
- Provide support and training to help attract and retain diverse talent.
- Develop wider staff on best practice and inclusive recruitment practices.
- Support on employee matters including wellbeing, inclusion and belonging.
- Contribute to the implementation of an EDI action plan / roadmap.
- Design and implement EDI initiatives.
- Evaluate recruitment methods.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships.
- Use data and feedback to inform decisions and drive continuous improvements.
- Identify patterns and trends to develop actionable insights.
- Develop toolkits to embed inclusive recruitment practices.
- Deliver induction and staff training.
Profile
A successful Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor should have:
- Experience working in an academic setting desirable.
- Experience of developing inclusive recruitment methods to attract and retain a diverse talent pool.
- Experience working in the Recruitment or Diversity and Inclusion space.
- Able to start from August.
