This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join a Financial Services organisation on a fixed-term contract. The role requires expertise in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, to support the organisation's operations in London.

Description

Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters in line with employment law and organisational policies. Manage a team of 4 direct reports at various stages in their ER career. Manage complex casework including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues. Advise and support managers on best practices to ensure consistency across the organisation. Collaborate with HR colleagues to implement strategies that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures related to employee relations. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and organisational standards. Deliver training and workshops to upskill managers in handling employee relations matters. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Human Resources department.

Profile

A successful Employee Relations Manager - FTC should have:

  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and its application within the financial services industry within the UK.
  • Proven recent experience in managing complex employee relations cases within a UK-centric Financial Services setting.
  • The ability to advise and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in human resources.
  • Be available on a maximum one (1) month notice period.
  • The ability to be office based, in the City of London, a minimum of two (2) days per week.
  • An existing right to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
