As a Commercial Paralegal you will join a global and rapidly expanding business based in the UK supporting on a broad range of legal functions across the EMEA region, including entity management, commercial contracts, bids and legal billing. This is a 6 month contract that can turn permanent for the right candidate.
Our client is a leading global technology group with operations and manufacturing sites across the globe. The Commercial Paralegal will be:
- Responsible for entity management across the EMEA region, including forming, restructuring and dissolving international entities.
- Maintaining board resolutions, directors' meeting minutes and annual filings for domestic and international entities.
- Supporting the commercial contracts team: drafting, reviewing and administering NDAs and commercial contracts.
- Assisting with bid and tender preparations, collaborating with sales teams and legal counsel.
- Coordinating with external counsel on EMEA matters and ensuring timely progress.
- Advising sales teams on contract terms, risk issues and governance requirements.
- Managing legal billing processes and liaising with finance and external providers.
- Performing ad-hoc governance and compliance tasks to support the legal team.
The Commercial Paralegal should be:
- A paralegal or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in a commercial legal role.
- Experienced in working across EMEA jurisdictions (highly desirable).
- Familiar with entity governance, international filings, contract review and bid/tender work.
- Comfortable advising non-legal stakeholders on contract risk and terms.
- Able to work remotely from the UK, and self-motivated in a virtual environment.
- Experience in a global firm or multinational context would be an advantage.
This is a fully remote UK-based role offering a salary of £25k-£40k, depending on experience.
