As Building Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of one or more high-profile commercial buildings, ensuring exceptional standards of customer service, safety, compliance, presentation, and operational performance. Working closely with occupiers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, you'll protect asset value, manage service delivery and budgets, and drive continuous improvement across a prestigious London property portfolio. Client Details The organisation is based in London. Description A Building Manager's Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day management of building operations and service delivery. Develop strong relationships with occupiers and act as the primary point of contact for operational matters. Ensure compliance with all health & safety, fire safety and statutory requirements. Manage contractors and service partners, driving performance against agreed standards and KPIs. Oversee service charge budgets, purchase orders and expenditure. Conduct regular building inspections to maintain high standards of presentation and service. Support building projects, occupier fit-outs and sustainability initiatives. Maintain emergency preparedness, business continuity and incident management processes.Profile A successful Building Manager should have: Strong facilities management experience within commercial property, corporate FM, or a similar operational environment. Sound knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance, contractor management, permits to work, RAMS, and fire safety. Experience managing occupier relationships and delivering excellent customer service. Good understanding of building services including mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems. Commercial awareness with experience supporting service charge budgets and supplier performance management. Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills. A solutions-focused mindset with strong judgement and problem-solving abilities.Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
