We are seeking a talented Assistant Vice President Procurement Category Lead (Corporate Services) with a strong background working within a regulated environment ideally financial services or potentially the legal sector. You must be able to commute to London, but this role is hybrid.

As an Assistant Vice President- Category Manager for Corporate Services you will:

  • Manage end to end procurement focusing on supplier management / contract management
  • Manage "Corporate" spend categories ie HR, Travel, Property & FM, Marketing, Legal, Professional Services.
  • Manage a defined book of work across the full third-party lifecycle: sourcing, commercial negotiation, contracting and ongoing supplier monitoring.
  • Ensure full compliance with Third-Party Management policies, controls and regulatory expectations.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and shape sourcing strategies that deliver value.
  • Lead contract reviews, interrogate terms and negotiate commercially and legally robust outcomes.
  • Support the wider Procurement transformation agenda, contributing to process improvements and best-practice adoption.
  • Maintain accurate reporting via dashboards, trackers and category plans.

A successful Assistant Vice President- Category Manager for Corporate Services you should have:

  • Strong background in procurement/ category management - (professional/ corporate services) and you MUST have a track record working within a regulated or financial services type of environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and an expert contract reviewer, able to interpret, challenge, negotiate terms quickly and confidently.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in procurement systems such as Oracle, Coupa, SAP or Ariba.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency across Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for contributing to a growing, transforming function.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree educated
  • 5+ year's Assistant Vice President- Category Manager for Corporate Services- procurement / category experience
  • Understanding of Financial Services risk, governance and compliance
  • Experience working closely with Legal, HR, Advisory, Consulting or other Corporate categories
