The Asset Transfers Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of client asset transfers in and out of the business. This includes working closely with custodians, platforms, advisers, and internal teams to ensure transfers are completed efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering excellent client outcomes.

Asset Transfer Processing

  • Manage end-to-end processing of asset transfers (e.g. ISAs, pensions, GIA accounts)
  • Liaise with external counterparties (custodians, platforms, ceding firms) to facilitate transfers
  • Monitor transfer pipelines and proactively follow up on outstanding cases
  • Ensure timely settlement and accurate reconciliation of transferred assets

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide updates to internal teams (Client Services, Relationship Managers) on transfer status
  • Handle queries from advisers and clients in a professional and timely manner

Controls & Reconciliation

  • Perform daily and periodic reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in asset positions or cash movements
  • Maintain clear audit trails and documentation for all transactions

Regulatory & Risk Compliance

  • Ensure all transfers comply with FCA regulations and internal policies
  • Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and client due diligence requirements
  • Identify and escalate risks, breaches, or delays appropriately

Profile

  • Previous experience in asset transfers, operations, or investment administration (ideally within an asset manager, platform, or custodian)
  • Knowledge of CREST, re-registration processes, or transfer platforms (e.g. Equisoft)
  • Strong understanding of UK investment products (ISAs, pensions, collective investments)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
