Description

Coordinate maintenance activities across assigned areas to ensure timely completion.

Schedule and monitor work orders, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.

Liaise with contractors and internal teams to address any issues or delays.

Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and ongoing projects.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all facilities management activities.

Respond to urgent maintenance requests and allocate resources as needed.

Support the team in achieving operational targets and service standards.

Provide regular updates to management on work progress and challenges.

Profile

A successful Area Works Coordinator should have

Experience in a social housing organisation in an administrative capacity
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Confidence in communicating with contractors and internal teams.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Proficiency in using scheduling or maintenance software.

Job Offer

Hourly rate of £15.00 to £16.00, dependent on the level of experience.

Temporary role offering flexibility with potential to go perm for the right person
