We're looking for an Internal Communications Manager who is ready to take ownership of an organisation's internal communications function. This isn't a role where you'll be managing a team. Instead, you'll be trusted to lead the internal communications agenda, working independently while being part of a wider communications and marketing function.
You'd be joining a Housing Association on an exciting journey and transforming the communications function is a big part of this, helping colleagues to feel informed, involved and connected.
Description
- Leading day-to-day internal communications activity
- Creating engaging content across a range of channels
- Managing and developing internal communication platforms
- Supporting engagement, culture and change initiatives
- Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation
- Using feedback and insight to continually improve communications
- Ownership of the strategy
Profile
You'll be a confident communicator with strong writing skills and a hands‑on approach.
We're particularly interested in people who:
- Have experience in internal communications, employee engagement or corporate communications
- Enjoy creating and delivering communications themselves
- Are comfortable working independently and managing priorities
- Have worked in lean teams or standalone roles where they've had to make things happen
- Are looking for ownership and accountability, rather than people management
- Come with high energy and enthusiasm that will be felt across the team
Job Offer
- Salary between £50,000 and £55,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement with two days on-site in Merseyside
