We are a specialist healthcare service company with our head office based in Liverpool city centre. This is an exciting opportunity to come and join us as we embark on a data transformation journey. This is a hands-on role supporting the migration of our legacy data across to our new cloud platform.
This role would be ideal for a Head of Data, or a Lead Data & Analytics Engineer looking for that next step in their career.

The Head of Data will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Data Leadership & Strategy
- Own and deliver the organisation's data strategy and roadmap.
- Act as the senior data leader across the business, promoting a data-driven culture.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved reporting, analytics and operational efficiency.
- Establish data standards, governance processes and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement across data, reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Hands-On Data & Analytics Delivery
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting solutions.
- Write and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects.
- Oversee and contribute to the development of data warehouses and analytical data models.
- Build and maintain ETL processes, integrations and automated data pipelines.
The successful Head of Data will be able to demonstrate:
- Previously acted in a senior data leadership role such as Head of Data, Data Manager, Lead Data Architect, BI Manager or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server development and administration.
- Advanced Power BI development and data modelling skills.
- Experience designing and implementing data warehouse and reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of ETL development, data integration and data pipelines.
- Experience delivering enterprise reporting and analytics projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at Executive level.
- Experience managing and developing technical teams while remaining actively involved in delivery.
We are based in Liverpool City Centre and easily commutable from the surrounding areas by public transport or car. We are a rapidly growing company wanting to put data at the heart of our decision making, this is an opportunity to come and play a key part in the data strategy and delivery of the new platform. Salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000. Hybrid working available. Additional benefits to be confirmed.
