Description
- Managing a portfolio of audit clients and overseeing audits from planning through to completion.
- Reviewing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members.
- Reviewing work completed by the audit team and providing technical guidance.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and assignment delivery.
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional value and advisory services to clients.
- Supporting Partners with business development and client growth initiatives.
Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified with strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
- Proven experience managing audits and leading client engagements from planning through to completion.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Previous experience managing, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Commercially aware, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality client service.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- A positive team player with ambition to progress within a growing firm.
