This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join a progressive accountancy practice in Liverpool. You will lead audits from planning to completion, prepare statutory accounts, and support clients with compliance and advisory needs while mentoring junior team members.

This role includes:
- Planning, managing, and executing audits for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing statutory accounts and supporting documentation
- Leading audit teams and reviewing work of junior staff
- Communicating audit findings and recommendations to clients
- Ensuring compliance with audit and accounting standards
- Using software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and IRIS
- Contributing to ad-hoc assurance and advisory projects
A successful Audit and Accounts Senior should have:
- ACA / ACCA qualified with 2+ years post-qualification experience
- Proven experience managing people and leading audits
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
