Joining as an Accounts Technician or Accounts Senior based in the firm's Liskeard offices, you will prepare year-end accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and deliver on a further wide range of general practice services to a mixed and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to millions of turnover. There will be scope for involvement in cloud accounting advice and increasing client exposure, working with managers and partners assisting on planning and advisory projects as you progress in the firm, with scope to further your technical skills and develop your career in a growing accountancy firm environment with excellent support on offer to qualify through AAT/ACA/ACCA, ATT/CTA, with encouragement and backing to pursue areas of technical interest.

For this Accounts Technician or Accounts Senior role, you will have a recent career background in the accounting profession, working for a small, medium or large independent accountancy firm / Top 50 / Mid Tier etc., with experience preparing accounts, tax and providing other associated practice services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as an Accounts Assistant / Technician or Senior Accountant. You may be pursuing or hold formal qualifications e.g. AAT or part ACCA, finalist etc., or have developed your career through experience to date only. Study support is on offer for those seeking support for their studies.

£25,000–£32,000 dependent on level of experience and background.
