Our client, an organisation based in Lincoln, are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant initially on a 12 month contract, but this could turn into a permanent position. They do 2 days per week in the office, and 3 days from home. Client Details Our client is based in Lincoln and is an established and reputable organisation. They have great flexibility and opportunities to progress in future. Description Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports. Posting journals, accruals and prepayments. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes. Help maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Reconcile accounts as needed. Work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy. Assist in monitoring and controlling expenditure. Provide support for audits and ensure compliance with regulations. Contribute to process improvements within the finance team.Profile A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have: A background in accounting or finance. Experience with management accounts and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.Job Offer Salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
