I'm partnering with a well-established, market-leading FMCG business to recruit a HR Advisor for their busy operational site in Lifton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, working in a fast-paced environment, and making a real impact on people, performance and culture.
This opportunity is with a well-established organisation within the FMCG industry.
As an HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, coaching managers and driving continuous improvement. You'll be a trusted partner to site leadership, balancing operational delivery with people-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor on all employee relations matters (absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievances, wellbeing)
- Manage an end-to-end ER caseload, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes
- Coach and support managers to build confidence and capability
- Work collaboratively with Trade Union representatives
- Support recruitment and onboarding for site-based roles
- Use data and HR systems to track KPIs and identify trends
- Contribute to engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support absence management and occupational health processes
- Provide support with payroll and HR administration
A successful HR Advisor should have:
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (Level 5 desirable) or equivalent experience
- Experience in an HR Advisor / HR Officer role, ideally in a manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong background in employee relations and case management
- Good knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident communicator, able to influence and build relationships
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HR systems and data reporting
Salary: £35k - £40k - dependant on experience + benefits
Location: Lifton - fully on-site role - 5 days a week.
Contract: Permanent - Full-time
