An exciting opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded specialist team based in Leeds. This role offers a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including tribunal work, advising a diverse client base across the education, charity and private sectors.

Our client is a well established, award winning regional law firm with multiple offices across the North of England. With several hundred employees and a strong national reputation, the firm is widely recognised for its specialist expertise and long standing client relationships. They are particularly well known for advising purpose led organisations, including charities and educational institutions, and consistently rank highly in legal directories. The firm prides itself on a great culture and genuine work life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Managing employment tribunal claims from inception to resolution
  • Providing day to day HR and employment law advice to clients
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies and settlement agreements
  • Working with clients through restructures, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Building strong relationships with existing clients and contributing to business development
  • Working within a specialist employment team

Profile:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 2-6 years PQE in employment law
  • Experienced in handling both contentious and advisory employment matters ideally with some experience advising charities
  • A track record managing employment tribunal cases
  • Strong in client communication and relationship management
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

Job Offer:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £58,000 to £68,000.
  • 1200 chargeable hour targets to support work-life balance.
