Working within a growing team, you will advise contractors, developers, employers and subcontractors on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters, with exposure to contentious work where desired. Description- Advising on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters
- Drafting and negotiating standard form construction contracts including JCT, NEC, IChemE and FIDIC
- Working with developers, contractors, employers and subcontractors across major projects
- Assisting with construction disputes and contentious matters where required
- Working closely with colleagues across commercial property and wider teams
- Advising clients across retail, education, transport, energy, utilities, water and power sectors
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working on business development initiatives and networking opportunities
- Working alongside construction specialists within a growing team
- A solicitor with 0-2 years PQE
- A trainee solicitor with a completed seat in construction will also be considered
- Interested in developing a career in construction law within a large regional firm
- Experienced or knowledgeable in non-contentious construction matters
- Familiar with standard form construction contracts including JCT and NEC
- Commercially minded with strong communication skills
- Keen to work closely with clients across a variety of sectors
