Our client is a SaaS Business based in Leeds City Centre with a focus on Retail. They are looking for a Lead React Developer to join them at the start of a large digital transformation. This is a lead role requiring strong technical expertise, architectural vision, and team mentoring experience. This role is 4 days a week in Central Leeds.

In this role you will lead the migration of legacy front-end to modern, user-friendly React Architecture. This project will take 2-3 years and will involve:

  • Leading the design and development of scalable React-based web applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement project requirements.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Reviewing and maintaining high-quality code standards, implementing best practices.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior developers within the team, fostering their growth.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Staying updated with the latest technology trends to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, ensuring a seamless user experience.
