Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted partner to department leaders and budget owners, helping them understand their numbers, spot variances, and make smart spending decisions.
- Work hand-in-hand with Financial Control to keep monthly costs accurate and transparent, while managing accruals and payments for overheads.
- Create and refine financial models that power reliable reporting and forecasting, collaborating with teams across finance and the wider business.
- Own the monthly overhead reporting process, delivering clear reconciliations and insightful variance analysis.
- Dive into payroll data to provide detailed reporting on salaries, group recharges, and related accruals/prepayments.
- Spot trends and turn them into actionable insights that influence key business decisions.
- Lead weekly trade reporting, partnering with stakeholders to improve processes, enhance data quality, and make reporting more impactful.
Profile:
- Fully qualified accountant or working at this level (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) with a solid technical foundation.
- Hands-on experience managing budgets, forecasts, and the full suite of financial statements - P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Tech-savvy with strong Excel skills (think advanced formulas and XLOOKUPs) and familiarity with planning tools.
- Detail-driven and highly organised, able to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator, capable of presenting insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
