We are currently looking for a Lead Developer – Dynamics 365 to join our Technology & Service Operations team within the Digital & Technology group.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at 7-8 Wellington Place, Leeds, LS1 4AP. Please note, this role is UK-only and not suitable for overseas applicants. We offer flexible working arrangements; discuss your preferences with the recruiting manager prior to acceptance.
Our current working model is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 8 days per month on-site to facilitate collaboration with partners and stakeholders. The attendance can flex up to 12 days depending on business needs, with the remaining time remote or in the office.
Role Description
The Lead D365 developer will support the design, implementation, and support of solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, guide team members, and manage stakeholder relationships.
This role is hands-on, leading the team in designing and developing Dynamics 365 applications following agile methodologies and best practices to ensure security and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and service providers to ensure project success.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Manage planning, execution, and implementation of D365 projects, including scope and risk management.
- Refine, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications without disrupting operational systems.
- Design and develop user-centric D365 applications using Agile practices.
- Ensure engineering standards related to security and performance are upheld.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience designing and developing solutions in Dynamics 365.
- Strong experience modeling data in Dataverse and integrating with data sources like Microsoft Azure SQL.
- Experience in systems design architecture and systems integration.
- Behaviours demonstrating managing a quality service, adaptability, strategic thinking, and teamwork.

Job Offer Details
Annual leave starts at 25 days, increasing with service to 30 days, plus 8 bank holidays. Salary: £55,233 plus Market Pay Supplements (£5,000 – developing, £10,000 – proficient, £15,000 – accomplished).
