Description
As Senior Project Manager you will act as a lead for all projects within the energy, power generation and waste management customer base
Oversee all projects relating to power plants, energy, oil, gas and waste management
Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project objectives and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and address any risks or issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project execution.
Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on project status.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for projects.
Implement and maintain project management tools and processes.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and performance.
Full scale project managementThis is a hybrid role where you would be expected to visit the North West offices every week whenever possible, unless you were busy away with customers, with a sensible approach to flexible working depending on work load.
Profile
A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
Proven experience managing large-scale projects in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
A strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
A relevant degree in engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
A good degree in mechanical, renewable power or chemical engineering or equivalent
Ideally experienced in power generation or energy from waste technologies, however other process experience i.e., oil and gas, cement, chemical, mining or metals will be considered.
