This is a varied, generalist role where you will support managers, drive best practice, and help shape a positive employee experience across the organisation. The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and talent processes
- Acting as first point of contact for HR advice to managers and staff
- Supporting ER cases including investigations, performance and absence
- Preparing contracts, offer letters and maintaining accurate HR records
- Contributing to L&D, induction, career mapping and engagement initiatives
- Producing HR reports and supporting continuous improvement projects
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and employment legislation
- Supporting organisational change and workforce planning activity
What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
- Solid HR/People Services experience in a generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment law, GDPR and HR best practice
- Confident communicator with excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a varied workload and build strong working relationships
