Full time IT Engineer position based in Redditch working for a multi-million pound growing manufacturing organisation. In this role, you will take on shared responsibility for both business systems administration and core infrastructure support.
Provide ERP system support and assist departments with system-related issues. Administer business systems, including Power BI reporting, SQL data analysis, and user management. Develop workflows and project tasks using the ERP programming toolkit, including EFACS modifications. Manage servers, storage solutions, and overall infrastructure reliability. Maintain network infrastructure, internet connectivity, and firewall configurations. Support cyber-security measures and ensure compliance with security policies. Ensure robust backups, data protection, and minimal business disruption. Liaise with internal teams to understand support needs and improvement opportunities. Coordinate with external suppliers for hardware, software, and purchasing requirements. Perform database administration and contribute to ongoing IT and infrastructure projects.
A successful IT Engineer should have:
- Ideal exposure in supporting IT within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
