Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Analyse manufacturing costs, margins, stock movements, and operational performance.
- Partner with operational and production teams to provide financial insight and challenge.
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors where required.
- Support process improvement initiatives across finance and wider business operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and internal policies.
Profile
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is desirable.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant, or Management Accountant role.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, stock accounting, and manufacturing reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to quickly understand business operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator capable of working effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
Job Offer
- Daily rate of Β£428 to Β£523, dependent on the level of experience.
