Interim Head of Finance – 9 month contract – Day Rate – 2 days per week in office – Large UK Charity Client Details The organisation is a prominent entity in the Not For Profit sector. Description Overseeing the financial management and budgeting of the organisation. Financial Controller responsibilities. Ensuring financial compliance and risk management. Liaising with stakeholders and other departments to ensure financial transparency. Preparing financial reports and statements for board meetings. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures. Providing financial analysis and forecasting to guide decision-making. Mentoring and developing team members – you will have 3 direct reports. Supporting with onboarding a new external auditor. Profile A successful applicant will: Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA). Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and uplifting a finance team. Be able to bring on a new external auditor. Have strong technical abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Have extensive charity experience at the Head of Finance level.
