We are seeking an experienced Interim Assistant Commercial Manager to support the delivery of high-profile procurement and commercial activities across a diverse portfolio of social impact and corporate services programmes. Description
Key responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities from initiation through to contract award and implementation.
- Manage low-value and selected high-value procurements, with contract values up to approximately Β£5 million.
- Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs), pricing schedules, governance papers, and approval documentation.
- Review, draft, and manage contracts and contract variations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, governance requirements, and internal processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop market-ready specifications and procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supporting documentation.
- Support engagement with a variety of stakeholders and partner organisations.
Profile
- Proven experience managing procurement processes end-to-end.
- Strong document drafting skills, particularly for governance papers, procurement documentation, and commercial reports.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of procurement regulations and governance processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Job Offer
- Daily rate of Β£350 inside IR35.
- 2 days per week on-site in London.
- 6 month contract duration.
