Overview
We are seeking a Tax Manager to join a market-leading employer in Cardiff. This role requires a candidate who brings a wealth of Corporate Tax experience to support the UK and International Tax obligations. If you are a skilled Tax Manager looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Help manage the Group\βs entire tax function globally.
- Provide commercial tax support and advice to various business units.
- Offer insights into the overall tax position, applying in-depth knowledge of international tax issues and risks.
- Manage tax risks across jurisdictions and transactions, including those related to WHT, VAT, corporate tax and employee mobility.
- Ensure compliance with all types of taxes.
- Assist in the implementation of effective policies that help mitigate tax risk and exposure.
- Assist in the oversight of the group\βs transfer pricing policy, ensuring it is applied consistently throughout.
- Maintain strong tax governance across the group, ensuring local finance teams follow the group tax policy and meet deadlines.
- Support every aspect of tax delivery, especially for group and UK subsidiary audits.
- Build and manage positive relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors.
Profile / Qualifications
- A professional qualification in tax or accounting (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA).
- Proven expertise in handling Corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and legislation.
- Multinational experience would be very advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently.
