An In-House Commercial Property Locum is required for an immediate start with a national retail-led organisation based near Northampton. This 3-6 month contract offers £45-£50 per hour, with hybrid working and two days per week in the office. This is a well-established national organisation with a significant UK property portfolio, including almost 400 retail sites alongside office and warehouse premises. The Commercial Property Locum will be:

  • Managing acquisitions and disposals across a varied property estate
  • Handling lease renewals and related landlord and tenant matters

  • Supporting the wider legal and estates teams on commercial property work
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating property documentation
  • Providing pragmatic advice to internal stakeholders
  • Helping manage a busy workload from day one

The Commercial Property Locum should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with strong commercial property experience
  • Available to start immediately
  • Confident handling acquisitions, disposals and lease renewals
  • Experienced in property litigation matters
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Happy to attend the Northampton office two days per week
