Night Shift Manager in Ilkeston

As the Night Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing planning and continuously improving the night shift function within the company operation. Description Oversee and maintain the site cleaning planning system to ensure the achievement of operational standards and safety standards are consistently achieved. Monday - Thursday 9.30 - 6.30 / Friday 9.30 - 3.30) Ensure cleaning schedules align with production requirements and minimise downtime Define clear expectations and standards for night shift cleaning activities. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with other roles and tasks when required to support operational needs. Lead, coach, and develop the Night Shift Cleaning Team to optimise task effectiveness and performance. Manage performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development plans. Lead by example through high standards of communication, behaviour, safety awareness, and work quality. Capable of managing multiple tasks and roles while leading the team to complete work safely and efficiently. Challenge unsafe or inefficient practices constructively. Assist and lead general labouring duties on site when required, including 5S, housekeeping, and site cleanliness.Profile A successful Night Shift Manager should have: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting. Ability to analyse data and implement improvements effectively.
