Senior Leadership Head of Service – Compliance and H&S
Senior leadership for the Compliance and H&S teams for 2,500 properties across Yorkshire and the North East.
- 2 direct reports – Compliance Manager and H&S Manager, plus a wider team of 7 supporting staff.
- Management of key compliance areas: Gas, Electrics, Fire, Asbestos, Lifts & Legionella.
- Management of the H&S team.
- Reporting to the Executive team and board.
- Ensuring the organisation adheres to the Regulator of Social Housing Consumer Standards and relevant legislations.
- Ownership of KPI’s and strategic planning for both Compliance and Safety.
- Developing and implementing improved policies and procedures.
Profile
- Relevant compliance or safety qualifications.
- Proven track record in leading compliance teams.
- Experience operating in a similar role in the housing or care sectors.
- Thorough understanding of key housing legislations for compliance.
- Ability to oversee teams managing Electrics, Gas, Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella and Lifts.
- Commutable distance to York.
