We are seeking a dedicated Practice Accountant to join an accountancy firm in Horsham. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality accounting solutions and provide valuable financial insights to clients.

Description
- Preparation of statutory company accounts for a range of owner-managed businesses
- Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns
- Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts
- Bookkeeping duties using various cloud-based accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and obtain required information
- Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to deadlines
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax requirements
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Knowledge of CCH Accounts Production preferred, but not essential
- Practical experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage preferred
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with clients
- AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
